1. Final Destination

Istanbul will be the main access point for hunters in Turkey, having to take a domestic flight afterwards to Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Kayseri, Trabzon or Erzurum generally and depending on the species which will leave clients closer to the hunting areas.

5. General Comment

Being the bridge between Europe and Asia, Turkey is a very popular destination amongst international hunters, as it offers plenty of different possibilities. On top of that, Turkey has developed an amazing tourism infrastructure which beyond hunting provides a wide variety of alternative activities for the whole family.

Amongst the many different game that Turkey has to offer we include the Bezoar Ibex; which for many hunters is the most handsome ibex species of them all, Anatolian Chamois; scarce in numbers and yet endemic from the Anatolian region, Konya Sheep; also endemic from Turkey and very few licences issued, Anatolian Red Deer or Mid-Eastern Maral; which produce some outstanding trophies, Anatolian Gazelle; recently opened to hunting after 40 years and wild boar; which can be pursued all year round either by spot and stalk or driven hunts, an exciting hunt not suitable for the faint-hearted.

After personally trying a few of the high-ended Turkish outfitters, we rely on the one which has proved to be the best for us. Not only the staff is the most experienced and competent; not only they provide our clients the finest hunting grounds and outstanding results but their honesty and extraordinary service are simply the best anyone could expect from a company which has been operating since 1987. As they once said, until the trophy is not in the client’s trophy room, their work is not done yet.
