Balearian Goat

 

Identification

The Balearian Goat is one of the first goats introduced in Balear Islands originally from Western Asia. It is characterized by its intense red colour with a dark strip along its back and all the way down its four legs and forehead, however this may vary depending on age. In terms of size, the Balearian goat is about 50 inches long and exceptionally an adult male can reach 110lb. Both males and females present spiral horns, however males tend to have bigger trophies.

 

Hunting

Although the Balearian Goat is one of the less demanded hunts by international hunters, the setting in which this hunt takes place will blow your mind. During the hunt, you will experience some of the most rugged terrain while seeing the Mediterranean Sea, offering some amazing views. Tramontana Range is only 4900 feet high, however, hunters will experience a much more rocky and rugged terrain than expected and it will surely be fun, as this requires hunter to perform some long-range shooting. Once the hunt is over, Mallorca offers infinite alternatives which invite hunters to relax and enjoy their stay in the island.

Habitat

Originally from Western Asia, the Balearian Goat was introduced in Mallorca where it lives in the steepest terrain of the Tramontana Range.

 

Habitos

The Balearian Goat can be easily found during daylight and unlike other hunting species, you can hunt them any time of the day. They usually live in groups of not many goats composed of both males and females indistinctly.
